SHAZAMME's PLEDGE
The Partnership Pledge
Our clients are our partners and at Shazamme we like to foster a long term relationship. To enable this let's agree a few boundaries so that everyone experiences a happy and smooth partnership.
SHAZAMME will...
- be cheerleaders for your success, and we’ll celebrate your wins.
- check in with you once a week to nip any challenges in the bud.
- provide you with any information you need to ensure you understand the build process and what we require from you.
- provide a detailed list of content you need to provide us at every stage of your website’s build, including the beginning.
- although not a design agency, we will guide you and provide recommendations.
- make it our #1 priority to deliver a visually appealing and quality product, with all the bells and whistles that make up the Shazamme platform.
- will provide you with all the functionality available to our customers within the Shazamme Platform.
- will always work to deliver iur best to you - to enable this, we will 'lock' the site, so that we can focus on delivering you a great site. Don't worry, as soon as your site goes live you will have full access to it, to evolve it as your brand evolves.
- provide you with the necessary documentation, training materials, how-to guides, and support to make necessary additions and changes in the future.
- will look forward to your feedback and don’t wait for the weekly survey if it’s urgent. Use our Knowledge Base, Chat, Support Tickets, YouTube channel or Facebook Group to find the answers you seek.
YOU will...
- take the time to allocate time and resources to the project.
- tell us how we’re doing.
- provide what we need on the dates agreed. Understand that if we receive things late it may cause delays to your site going live.
- please note: if we are constantly unable to reach you or receive what is needed, the project will be put on hold until a mutually agreed date when you are able to dedicate time to getting it live.
- approve the sitemap and pages to be built before build begins. Any changes after that will be reviewed and if possible, incorporated, however too many changes may impact timing and possibly incur an associated cost.
- changes are allowed will depend on the package you have purchased. If we find too many changes are being requested, SZ will provide you with the cost for continuing to make so many changes! Site changes allowed can be found below (table to be added)
- Design inspiration and template changes: Once a template has been chosen or a site reference given to us to use as the foundation for your build this cannot be changed. Shazamme will assume that you are aware of the impact of changing the template choice after build has commenced (changes will result in additional cost to you). If you require advice on which template(s) would suit your brand, please ask your PM to provide suggestions during the onboarding period.
- Reviews: agreed review periods need to be adhered to. Main POC required - if others are involved that is ok but we need decisions and approvals from one POC. Site feedback to be provided via site comments not emails, and in one go - not over several days or weeks. Email feedback will not be accepted. If preferred, a tracker may be used to add and track site changes during build. This should be confirmed with your PM before the desktop review period commences. Should site comment volumes get too high the PM will discuss this with you as a site that is well briefed and executed should not have more than 40 comments.
- note: once your desktop review period concludes, our team will put the site into 'lockdown'. This means you will not be able to edit the site yourself. In exceptional circumstances you and the PM may agree access for the addition of content, and possibly images only. Any structural changes made by clients and resulting in additional development time for our teams, might incur additional cost.
- job integrations: new integrations can take up to 6 weeks! SZ needs confirmation on your integration structure and setup ASAP once we kick off. Especially with Bullhorn or other ATS’s where you are able to configure your setup specific to your business needs. This is important as the API integration that SZ has agreed with those ATS’s may not accommodate the fields required to pull the data. This can be addressed but must be known up front.
- widget requests and changes: much as we would love to deliver all change requests quickly, this is not always possible. Some requests require changes to several other widgets baked into the Shazamme platform and require weeks or even months of development. Please send us the requirements as soon as they are available, and with examples where possible so that we may review and provide you with a turnaround time.
- acknowledge that Shazamme is not a design agency.
- make having a beautiful quality website go live your #1 priority, to reap the rewards that taking control of your brand can bring.
- understand that the Shazamme Platform is a do-it-yourself model because it is so simple and easy to use.
- will ask for help if needed, and use the Shazamme Knowledge Base, Chat (open 24/7), YouTube Channel and exclusive customer-only Facebook Group.
- share open, honest, constructive and substantiated feedback, immediately and through the appropriate channels.
- escalations: if, at any point you feel the need to escalate any concern, please email Paula Mogg our COO, at
